What we do

We focus on meaningful initiatives that empower individuals to take charge of their own health.

Your Voices.
Your Experiences.
Your Impact at OAC.

Our trainers share personal stories about working with people affected by cancer, the role of outdoor exercise in recovery, and how community, movement, and motivation help bring life back into balance.

We certify professionals

We certify sports and health professionals on how to tailor exercise programs for cancer patients and survivors, focusing on their unique needs.

We improve health literacy

At the heart of our work is transferring theoretical knowledge into practical action. Our goal is to enable individuals to make informed decisions about their health.

I did the training to learn how I can better help my patients get back to normal life after therapy. Physical activity is important to me because it makes you feel alive and strong – and it brings joy. As an oncologist, I have seen that exercise is often the best remedy for many side effects of cancer treatment, especially fatigue. For me, exercise means feeling good in your own body.
Stefan Kolling , Certified OAC-Trainer

I chose to do the OAC training because I find its content truly convincing and meaningful. Physical activity has always been important to me, and especially during my cancer journey it has helped me feel stronger and more grounded. I have experienced that movement, particularly in the mountains, can truly move mountains, both physically and mentally.

For me, movement means being at one with my body and my soul and allowing myself to be guided from within. I would definitely recommend the OAC training because it is well structured, scientifically grounded, highly engaging and easy to integrate into everyday life. Above all, it represents the opportunity to give other women the chance to experience how the connection between movement and nature can strengthen and support them on their cancer journey and their path toward healing.

Outdoor Against Cancer makes me strong! Diagnosis of breast cancer, August 2017. At first, I was only interested in being able to dare to be around people. Sport with a wig is stupid – without too. I don’t want everyone to see that I have cancer right away. I dared to go to the OAC.
The training is exhausting at the beginning, but I almost always manage to go and participate during chemo. Wow, they are all so fit and in such a good mood! That gives me courage and spurs me on. It’s a great varied workout, never boring and always fun. I’m just starting my fourth year of OAC and I’m fitter than before the diagnosis! OAC makes you strong!
