In 2015, cancer survivor and adventurer Petra Thaller founded Outdoor Against Cancer (OAC). From the beginning, outdoor physical activity, nature and sustainability were at the heart of the mission. What started as a small outdoor training has become a growing movement. Step by step, OAC has built a community of certified trainers and survivors, inspiring people far beyond Europe. Ten years later, OAC celebrates this milestone with the documentary THE WAY. Health Unites Us. a journey that reflects resilience, endurance, and connection.

Your donation supports the expansion of OAC programs worldwide, helping more people take control of their health, prevent disease, and improve lives.

A documentary between peaks and valleys, oceans and deserts, about prevention, resilience, and the role of physical activity for us humans and the planet we live on, with and beyond cancer.

„During a life-changing or challenging illness, there is nothing more valuable than feeling strong, independent, and alive again.
This feeling is not only a sign of physical recovery but also an essential step back into life.
Petra’s adventure reminds us that movement and community are among the most powerful forms of healing. Her courage is contagious – movement heals.“
