On 13 June 2026, the prevention event “Wir bewegen Bayern” (“We move Bavaria”) took place at five locations across Bavaria. The event was initiated by the Bavarian Cancer Research Center (BZKF).

OAC was represented at two locations: Munich and Erlangen. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we spoke with numerous visitors, shared information and encouraged people to get active at the TUM Campus in Munich’s Olympic Park and the Schlossgarten in Erlangen.

The day was characterised by movement, fun and social connection, sending a strong message about the importance of being active. Or, in the words of Bavaria’s Interior Minister, Joachim Herrmann, member of the Bavarian State Parliament, who also visited our booth in Erlangen: “The more we move, the better.”

The event also gave us the opportunity to further strengthen our cooperation with the City of Erlangen. We jointly hosted a booth, exchanged ideas and supported one another. After all, it is only by working together that we can set great things in motion.

Our 4×4 Training in Erlangen is also part of the summer programme of “Erlangen bewegt!”, a physical activity campaign organised by the city’s Department of Sport and Health Promotion.
